Why is it people smoke? especially by other people's open windows. new neighbors LOVE to sit on the steps outside my window and smoke ALL DAY LONG. I can't ever have my windows open because I'm an asthmatic. the smoke flows into my room makes me cough etc. I hate!

Ended up not going to Anime Iowa, decided it was just too expensive. $60 for 3 days and no 1 day pass is pretty stupid.
So in all this extra time I decided to catch up on anime and play WoW. Started Thursday evening took 2 4hr naps and went to bed around 1am Saturday morning. Brother on the other hand skipped the naps.
Decided that Battle grounds are extremely stupid. When its 23 (ally) Vs 40 (horde) I'd say its safe to say thats BS.
if they have a cap (I'm assuming 40) obviously they don't care if 1 side is completely out numbered.
What they really needed to do in this case is to make a dynamic cap. since ally only has 23, cap should be something a bit more reasonable. lets go on the 5s. Cap should be set to 25, if ally reaches 25 up it to 30, up to a max of 40.
In this way it ensures no side is out numbered by more than 5.
Users could be put on a queue and added to the BG if/when needed. or delayed until the next BG starts.

Asked for 3 days off to go to Anime Iowa recently and somehow got off the 2 days before as well.
Got asked to hit the bars by a few friends. I started off with a Gin and Grapefruit juice at 1 bar. We ended up having to leave after 1 friend got his balls grabbed by a 50-60yr old woman.
So we moved on and went to a quieter bar (that was also loud due to karaoke) Sat down and a guy started up a conversation and offered to order us all a round of shots. He ordered me a shot of Tequila. But while that was in process 2 others in my party ordered cherry bombs, one ordered it for another, the other ordered it for themselves not knowing it was already being ordered, so I ended up taking it, then came the tequila shot. I knew after that shot I should have stopped.
But down went the cherry bomb. then he ordered yager bombs.(probably spelling it wrong) and down went that too... with that we were all kinda tired of him really hitting hard on the only female member of our party and were drunk, so we called it a night.
got drove home leaving my car at the bar, felt fine so I biked to my moms for a hair cut, had to run to the bathroom the second it was announced he was practically done.
Decided it was a very smart decision to only ever have 1 glass of whatever, within a 24hr period. as the next 24hrs after that are not pleasant at all.

Had a great time on Vacation, 12 days. Started off in Alabama around Huntsville visiting my Uncle. Then on my way to visit an Internet friend our car overheated. The driver called his insurance company only to find out that they could only take us to Montgomery which was around 20-30 miles in the opposite direction we were going. A local told us that it'd be cheaper to have it towed to Troy, Alabama and have it repaired there. So we went that route. Got into Troy, the towing company actually fixed the problem, however they charged us an arm and a leg. But had us going again very early in the morning, much sooner than any other place could. That put us a day behind schedule.

In Tallahasee, Florida I visited with my friend, while the rest of them went south to St. Mark's Lighthouse which they found to only be Open to the public 2 times a year. Which because of our delay, was open the day they arrived. So they got to go up into the lighthouse.

Next we got to Tarpon Springs, Florida to visit my other Uncle. There we visited Howard Park, Which is an odd looking Beach. Howard Park location Which is also the location of a very funny sign.

Unfortunately during the duration of the visit it was actually warmer back in Iowa than in Florida. They were having a Cold snap -- January like conditions. To us however this is long sleeve shirt weather. Not anywhere near Winter weather.

Finally we finished up in Woodstock Georgia, a suburb of Atalanta. Here I got to visit my Brother, his wife and their 2 daughters (almost 3 and 5yr olds). The 3yr old for some reason lached on to me the moment I sat down in the couch. She went right up to me and jumped into my lap and threw her arms around my neck and wouldn't let go. For the next 3 days or so she was all over me. That gets tiring after a while! I was exhausted every night. While we were there we also got to visit the Georgia Aquarium which was quite cool. I have several images of that along with many others in My Vacation 2008 Album

Overall I had alot of fun, can't wait for the next vacation. However for the time being I don't want to sit in a car for more than 10mins for quite sometime. We drove almost 3,000 miles. Also while I love my Niece(2yr) and Nephew(6month), I really don't want to share a hotel room with them again until they can not cry and sleep through the entire night.

Yes I realize its still March! but I wanna do it now =p

Hurrah! its Spring time! and I have 8 days left until my vacation hits! I will be gone from April 8th to the 20th. If the website and services will be up or not I'm not sure. most likely yes, but if my IP changes i'll be unable to correct it.

speaking of IP changes, it took 2 days for it to happen this time! I was quite upset. Even sent in a support request to my DNS provider. apparently they don't consider it a problem until its not updated after 3 days. (72 hours)

I've started development of a MAL automatic updater. This program monitors your processes looking for known video players, takes the filename and tries to get the series and episode your watching, then sends the update to MAL. It was inspired by the Windows version While not perfect its been functioning quite well for me and currently I've not had to restart the app in 2 days meaning I've not had to fix anything really. Its been quite fun working with Perl again, The monitor however is written using bash.

For those of you that don't know, Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii is awesome :) I bought it at 5am the day it came out. I just woke up naturally.. no alarm at around 4 and couldn't get back to sleep. So what better thing to do than to buy it at 5am and then spend the next 12 hours playing it? Got around 8 characters unlocked during those 12 hours.

Weather has finally got better, tho snow is expected tomorrow its currently 58F (14.6C) outside, so I have my window open. seeing the snow melt away is such a pleasent thing.

Not a whole lot has been going on. Snow snow snow .. and um.. snow tho? I currently have to stand up to see out my window. I have a 3-4 foot snow drift blocking my path.

Notice you can see the other side. If I were to take a photo from the same exact position that, that one was taken. All you'd see is snow. That perticular day, I had to have someone help push me out of my parking spot. Which was also after my parking lot was plowed And they helped me shovel my car out. The plow that day had pushed so much snow next to my car it looked like I had driven into a snow bank. couldn't open either of my front doors, and you couldn't see my front tires. Wish I had gotten an image of that :/

I did another job for http://postedstuff.com/ However he's yet to pay me so I'm not too happy about that. He paid with interest last time and seems like a good guy. So hopefully he's not just taking the work and running. If he does I'll be sure he gets nothing but negative advertisement. -- Edit: he's paid me in full plus a bonus :)

Got some dried figs a few days ago. While they don't quite match up to a Fignewton as they are quite a bit dryer. They taste so similar I almost wonder if all they do is throw a little breading around a fig?

Finished watching a handfull of anime series in the last few weeks.
Shadow Star Narutaru While it had potential in the end the series really sucks.
Pokemon First series is complete finally. So I'm moving on to Pokemon Advance.
Started watching Moetan If your into Magical girls animes with a hint of perverse humor. Its a good watch. Wish they'd hurry up and finish subbing it.
Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun Good Romance anime. If you liked Girls Bravo Than this is for you.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya While I'm not quite sure why it was so popular, it did have its good spots.
Currently I'm hammering away at Inu Yasha I'm at 75 of 167. Not too bad considering last week I was at ep38. Thats an average of almost 5 per day.

Well I've finally found the reason why I've been so tired recently. Just walking to my kitchen and back yesterday was enough to make me wanna take a nap. And the reason why I keep having hot/cold flashes, coughing all the time, headaches, eyes hurt...

Yep I got Walking Pneumonia! The thing that use to kill lots of people about 100 years ago. Box on my antibiotics tho says I should start feeling better in 5 days tho. Hurrah for modern medician.

Sadly tho its Contagious which means no one can come over for too long(Which means no cute girls can nurse me back to health *sniff*). I'll also be out of work for at least 2 more days. Oh yah.. this paycheck is gonna suck. Unless of course I can turn them into sick pay.

Of course I have to pick a fun image :)
Just started watching Nanatsuiro Drops. Yet another cutisy magical girl anime.
Almost kinda amazes me how they always seem to have 1 who doesn't know anything about whats going on and another who knows exactly what is going on. Think Card Captor Sakura, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha?
Overall pretty good anime, I just finished episode 5 and I just started it A little over an hour ago.

I've also started using My Anime List To keep track of what I've seen. As such... my animedb is currently unmaintained. I've not touched it for almost a month. So soon I'll probably bring it offline. I'm almost sad to see it go however as it was the first and primary reason I started developing what all my websites use. Because of it the backends or Library or whatever you wanna call it became so powerful and useful all around. There are still things I've yet to realize within it. But for what it is currently I am very proud of it.

For website Improvements I've just added the ability to easily link to Anime News Network's website if you know the ID number of the anime. using ANN:number in the normal way (enclosed in []s)

Yes, AFTER Christmas. the time of year when everyone is finally starting to get unstressed, retailers STOP playing Christmas songs that have been playing for almost 2 months. I love the Christian songs, but I can only handle so many Santa, Reigndeer, etc songs. not to mention the commercials they play over the stupid Wal-mart TV Network... "Peace on Earth sounds great, but its not happening at my house without 2 of everything" That sounds so greedy and is obviously a marketing scheme. So you got twins and each one wants the same thing the other has... it'd be a good time to teach them sharing, or a sense of individuality....

For the fun of it I hooked up my TV as a 3rd monitor. So now if I really wanted to I can switch my audio to the rear speakers that I have setup in the living room, and throw a movie over to the TV and watch it on a comfortable couch! Only problem is for some reason the viewing size is a bit off and it cuts off all around the edges. If your watching something with subtitles it cuts off a little bit of the bottom of them. still readable, but not good that its doing that.

Had family over for breakfest Hannah got a handfull...and a face full of chocolate

Being a linux user my mother couldn't resist giving me a chocolate Penguin

If your wondering, no Hannah didn't help me eat it.
